Yama Food: B2B Shopify Live on Deadline — Automatic Product Sync for Two Stores
Yama Food's B2B Shopify shop launched on schedule in December 2025 — with automatic allergen and nutrition sync from PS in Foodservice across two stores.
The Challenge
Yama Food is a Dutch importer and wholesaler of Japanese food products, with two Shopify stores: one B2C, one B2B for horeca and professional buyers. Every product requires accurate, up-to-date allergen, ingredient, and nutritional information — mandatory for a food business operating at professional level.
With two new Shopify stores and a hard deadline for the B2B launch in December 2025, a reliable and automated integration was essential.
Our Solution
We analysed the data model of PS in Foodservice — the external food data platform holding all nutritional information — and mapped it cleanly to both Shopify stores.
**Reliable Data Sync**
- EAN number used as the unique identifier to prevent mismatches
- Automatic sync of product title, description, allergen info, ingredients, and nutritional values
- Both B2C and B2B Shopify stores updated from the same source
**Separation of Concerns**
- Product images managed separately via Microsoft Business Central
- Duxly handles data accuracy; no conflicts with existing image workflows
**Deadline Delivery**
- Integration completed and tested within the project timeline
- B2B store launched on time in December 2025
