Serverless order and refund automation from Shopify to Exact Multivers with monitoring and idempotency.
The Challenge
A European retailer needed Shopify orders and refunds to land reliably in Exact Multivers without manual exports. Their finance team struggled with late postings, duplicate entries, and incomplete order data from a growing volume of web orders.
They required a system that could validate orders, prevent duplicates, handle refunds correctly, and alert the team when something needs attention.
Our Solution
We built a serverless integration that connects Shopify to Exact Multivers while keeping control over data quality and failure handling.
**Order & Refund Automation**
- Shopify webhooks ingest orders and refunds
- Orders are normalized and queued through SQS
- A Windows agent posts validated orders to Exact Multivers

- Idempotency checks prevent duplicate order creation
- DLQ routing captures invalid or incomplete payloads
- Email alerts and logs surface exceptions quickly

- Mapping validation for SKUs and shipping data
